We are accepting submissions on a rolling basis. The guidelines for submitting any written piece are outlined below. 

  • Every month sub-themes would be provided on our social media platforms and blogs on those sub-themes would be accepted until otherwise notified or new sub-themes are provided, whichever is earlier.  

  • Simultaneously, this year’s CUHRLS campaign theme is Socio-Economic rights, so any blogs related to Socio-Economic theme would be accepted on rolling basis till any further information notified.  Before sending your complete blog on this theme, it is requested to send a pitch for approval.

  • All entries should be submitted in .doc or .docx format and the manuscripts must be e-mailed to cuhrls.blogs@gmail.com.  The subject of the email should be titled “Submission for CUHRLS Blog – NAME OF THE PERSON”.

  • Intimation of rejection or acceptance shall be conveyed within two to four weeks of submission. In case there is no response even after four weeks, authors are free to publish their work at any other place. 

  • Blogs shall include the legal acumen of the author(s) and should be motivated towards novel contribution. 

  • Sending a Pitch-If you think that you are unsure about the relevance of your topic related to sub-themes, feel free to send a pitch in not more than 100 words. The editorial board would then comment on its feasibility and willingness to whether they would want to take it forward or not.

  • Only those articles will be accepted which are not yet covered on the CUHRLS blog so it is advised to go through blogs which are already published before sending your work.

  • The Editorial Board may summarily reject any manuscript that has already been covered in the blog or if plagiarism exceeds more than 10%. 

  • The blog should be the original work of the author and co-authorship of a maximum of 2 is permitted.

  • All submissions must be in Times New Roman, font size 12, spacing 1.5, justified.

  • All relevant sources must be hyperlinked. In case no hyperlink is available for reference, the use of endnotes is recommended but not encouraged. For endnotes, any standard and uniform Citation style shall be followed.

  • The decision of the editorial board would be final.
